We started off this past weekend at 5 pm Friday with a grocery trip.
Then Friday night I made corn dip, salsa, sugar crusted blueberry cake, lemonade, 2 batches of baked beans (seriously the best baked beans), and 2 batches of cream corn.




And in case you were worried, we did not eat all this goodness for dinner.
The beans and corn were made to take to a big surprise birthday party cookout on Saturday evening for my brother.
The rest of the feast was prepared for our church Life Group get together at our house on Sunday night.
And the reason I did all this in advance?
Napping.
I just wanted to be able to take a nap on Saturday/Sunday afternoon.
I now have to schedule my naps.
