Like a lot of great things in life, you don’t appreciate where you are now until you realize how far you have come.
Hence, a LONG blog post on our progress so far in our home overhaul.
We still have lots and lots to do, but baby we have come a long way (especially considering have only been married for 7 months and we have only been renovating for 9 months and the fact that I work two jobs).

Thank you for joining in on the Summer Tour of Homes!
Aw Gina thanks. My husband is a HUGE help. I could not get any of this stuff done without him :)
Here on the Summer Tour of Homes! Wow- what a great place! I love everything from your front door (ours is similar, great minds think alike!) to that awesome coffee sack covered ottoman. Seriously, I’m impressed with all your projects!
Thanks. My husband and I are a great team. And my mom made the ottoman :)
Wow, you guys have done an amazing job! Love how the kids pitched in with the hardwood floor installation (mine ran the opposite direction). Thanks for sharing your home with us!
Yes the kids were a HUGE help :)
Love the guest room! Can you tell me the paint color? Thanks!
Yes. The paint color is Blue Suede by Martha Stewart. It’s sold at Home Depot. MSL164
Having renovated two homes I appreciate the amount of love, sweat and sheer hard work that goes into making all decisions, congratulations, it looks great. Enjoy it,
