Recipe Review: Berry Cobbler Muffins

I stumbled across this cute little blog quite a few years ago called Southern Plate by Christy Jordan.

Christy Jordan writes her blog on southern family life and recipes.

And her food blog has become a huge hit, and she even has a cookbook out.

Anyway, the first recipe I ever made from Southern Plate was the peach cobbler muffins.

That was years ago, but last night I had a hankerin’ to bake so I whipped up my own version of her muffins.

Instead of canned peaches that the recipe calls for,  I used a 1 1/2 cup frozen peaches and blueberries.

I didn’t even completely thaw the frozen fruit.

And the results were fantastic.

These truly taste like cobbler goodness in muffin form.

Next time I am going to try a frozen berry mix.
